Description: This side by side Field Model boxlock was one of the "spec" guns made by the Rizzini brothers in collaboration with Rinaldo Zoli for the American market and was imported by Abercrombie & Fitch of New York City. It has a scalloped receiver and was awarded to the "D" Class Champion at the 1965 Abercrombie & Fitch sponsored Eastern States Singles Event according to the brass plate attached to the stock. The Zoli/Rizzini guns of that era were fine quality, but cannot be compared fairly with the current F.lli Rizzini guns which are individually hand-crafted to customer orders.
