Metal Condition There are vestiges of case-colors visible (violets & blues) in protected areas and some light pitting in the normal handling locations. Some patches of patina exist and all action screws show evidence of turning. The barrels are mostly blue with a mix of gray patina from the mid-point to the muzzles. The left barrel has light contact denting.
Wood Condition The checkering on both stock and forend appears to have been re-pointed in the past and both have been sanded and lacquered. There are numerous scratches and contact marks both on and under the finish.
Bore Condition Both bores are bright, but the contact dents noted earlier are visible in the bore. Viewed from the breech, the left bore (Full Choke) has a slight dent in the 12 o'clock position approximately 1-1/2" from the muzzle and another at 9 o'clock about 6-1/2" from the muzzle. The right-hand bore is free of any anomalies.
