Metal Condition Tight lockup. All screws have been turned and slots are deformed to varying degrees. Barrel retains a majority of bluing with scattered areas of oxidation freckling. Faint traces of blue/violet case coloring mixed with patina visible on receiver.
Wood Condition Action has beeb removed fron stock at some point, evidenced by chipping of wood where it meets the metal. There is a hairline crack on the right side extending from the rear of the triggerguard to the action. Another crack is starting at the rear of the tang.
Bore Condition Bright bores.
Manufacture Date Date stamp of 4/31 indicates 1930's manufacture, however, there are also post WW II East German proofmarks indicating re-proofing in the 1950's or 1960's.
