| Wood Condition | Action has beeb removed fron stock at some point, evidenced by chipping of wood where it meets the metal. There is a hairline crack on the right side extending from the rear of the triggerguard to the action. Another crack is starting at the rear of the tang. |

| Manufacture Date | Date stamp of 4/31 indicates 1930's manufacture, however, there are also post WW II East German proofmarks indicating re-proofing in the 1950's or 1960's. |
