Description: This 1909 Argentine Cavalry Carbine was built by Deutche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) in Berlin, Germany and carries the importers mark of Century Arms International of St. Albans, VT and 7.65mm caliber designation on the right side of the barrel near the muzzle. The bore is dark with worn rifling and the gun has been arsenal refinished at least once. The action, bolt and floorplate all match; the stock originally belonged to a standard rifle, modified to carbine configuration and restamped by the arsenal when it was mated to the action after rework.
