Description: Colt Lightning Magazine Rifle .22 Short. This gun appears to be original and unaltered. The action is patinaed. The buttstock shows some wear and may have been polished, but not sanded or varnished. The bore is medium dark with only light rifling and the last 1/4" of the muzzle shows considerable erosion, and would need a recessed crown to restore accuracy. The action is rather stiff, but does function smoothly.
