Description: Colt 1877 Lightning .38 Long Colt This gun retains little finish, but appears to be all original. The action is tight and locks up in both double and single action. Known for weak internal parts, these guns are rarely in this good mechnical shape. It is not perfect. To turn the cylinder for loading or unloading, you have to hold the hammer half way between the safety notch and the half cock notch, and the ejector spring is weak. The front trigger guard screw is missing.
