Description:

Roy Dunlap Custom Sako L61 R .300 Winchester Magnum. A beautiful rifle by a master gun builder. Roy Dunlap, arguably, was one of the greatest gunsmiths of the 20 century. Roy Dunlap learned gunsmithing as an individual machinist and during World War II he was a sergeant and field armorer for the ordnance department. Shortly after the war he wrote his first book entitled Ordnance Went Up Front. However, he is most famous for his 714 page book "Gunsmithing" which was first published in 1950 and has been republished a dozen times or more since. Gunsmithing, a highly rated piece of gunning literature, praised as a well written with an abundance of information of great detail. It has been long considered a must for the experienced gunsmith and small arms designer. Roy Dunlap custom rifles are extremely scarce and are rarely offered for sale, so don’t miss out on your chance to own this beautiful rifle by one of America’s premier gunsmiths.
