Description: This Spencer Repeating Rifle is similar to the Civil War model type carbine, it was patented March 6 , 1860, there were approximately 30,502 manufactured for the U.S. Army at Providence, R.I. by Burnside Rifle Company. This particular Carbine is in good overall condition, the finish is worn but it is in very sound mechanical condition.
