Generac's Cold Weather Kit makes sure your generator continues to start, even when the temperature plummets. Recommended for generators installed in regions where temps regularly fall below 32°F, the thermostat will activate the battery warmer to ensure the optimum temperature is maintained for proper battery function. Plus, it activates the crankcase oil heater to promote the most efficient start. When installing a cold-weather kit, it's important to replace your oil with 5W-30 synthetic for enhanced engine starting capability. Intended for use with air-cooled products manufactured after April of 2010. Includes an automatic thermostatically controlled battery-pad warmer and crankcase heater.

  • 7kW Cold Kit - Intended for use with CorePower/ES 7kW systems.
  • 8kW-22kW Cold Kit - Applicable to all air-cooled products. 50-watt, 0.21 amp battery pad and 40-watt, 0.17 amp crankcase. 240 volts.
