This rugged cowhide's remarkable durability and waterproofness is the result of a special tanning process that has yet to be matched in any other leather. Goodyear welt construction makes resoling easy, so you can enjoy their comfort long after you've worn the first set of soles out. And these 9" boots boast waterproof, breathable full GORE-TEX® linings for the highest level of moisture management available today. These 9" boots have 400-gram Thinsulate Ultra™ Insulation throughout for a good measure of warmth without unnecessary weight or bulk, making them ideal for hiking as well as mild-weather hunting. With their aggressive airbob and 3/8" cleated rubber outsoles, you can take on any terrain. They have a shock-absorbing EVA midsole that soaks up the blows dished out by hard terrain so your ankles, knees and legs won't have to. A removable foam footbed covered with moisture-wicking polypropylene gives them extra cushioning and moisture-wicking power. And, the unique lace-to-toe construction helps lash them to your foot for maximum ankle support and comfort. A Moisture-wicking lining pulls perspiration away from your socks and feet, and the padded collar and tongue prevent blisters that can put a painful end to an otherwise successful day of hunting.
