TFO Bob Clouser Fly Rods

Casting heavy, weighted flies presents a special dilemma to modern fly anglers. TFO has the answer with their Clouser rods. The rods feature progressive tapers and high-modulus graphite, and are built to handle weighted flies, split shot and sinking lines. The rod's fast action bends deeper into the blank than other TFO rods, but it also has a slightly stiffer tip for quick response and better loop control. Together they'll prevent you from taking a big streamer off the noggin. For guys that throw heavy flies, the rods provide ideal dampening and smoothness. A tough TiCr coating in the finish protects the rod from errant split shot and lead eyes. Three burled cork rings are included on the grips to help prevent wear from hours of casting. Color-coded alignment dot system provides easy line size recognition. Four-piece design makes for easy transport. 5 wt. does not have fighting butt.
