Clad in a two-toned, nonglare anodized finish, the 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum is fully CNC-machined and matched with stainless steel components to blend superior light weight with rugged strength. Solid machined spool further increases overall strength-to-weight ratio. Aggressive large-arbor ratios promote maximum line pickup speed and minimum line coil memory. The proven-reliable sealed drag consists of stacked, smooth-braking Rulon® discs with a two-stage compression drag spring that accommodates a wide range of drag pressures. Ball-bearing drag knob with detents ensures positive, smooth drag selection. Large knurled drag knob for ease of adjustment in wet conditions.
