The Mantis has an adjustable camera head that offers 120 degrees of up-and-down adjustment.
It shoots still images (up to 9 megapixels) in bursts of one, three or five photos, with a detection range of 80 feet. Or you can shoot video at 32 frames per second, in lengths of 10, 30 or 60 seconds.
Laser-sight technology generates a trigger speed of 1.2 seconds, with a trigger delay of 10, 30, 60 or 100 seconds.
It features 60 Invisi-Flash infrared LEDs that shoot black and white images at night and are undetectable to animals and humans, which makes this camera a great choice for home or office surveillance use in the offseason. Flash range is 70 feet. Date, time, temperature and moon phase recorded on each photo.
Requires an SD card (not included), and accepts cards up to 32 GB. Uses 10 AA batteries, or the rechargeable lithium-ion Eyecon Extenda-Life Battery Pack (sold separately).
