Minn Kota's engine mount motors can transform your current boat motor into a hard-core fishing machine without sacrificing any performance. The motor mounts to the cavitation plate of your outboard or I/O lower unit and rides completely out of the water once on plane. Ideally suited for saltwater applications, these motors feature superior corrosion protection for years of dependable use. You control the unit with a corded remote that can be handheld or mounted wherever convenient. It offers you variable speed control and a neutral (off) position. You steer your boat the same as you would with your gas motor. The electronics are contained in sealed marine-grade polyurethane and the housing is aluminum with cooling fins to help dissipate heat.
