Cabela's Salt Striker® Stand-Up Rods

The tradition of Salt Striker rods continue with these Stand-Up rods. Made with 50/50 graphite-glass composite, they will fight even the biggest fish. They feature roller stripper guides and tip tops to reduce line wear and tension. Between the roller guides are heavy-duty aluminum oxide boat rod guides. Other features include heavy-duty aluminum reel seats, slick butts and nylon gimbals. Most models now feature Batson Enterprises® SS316 stainless guides. The lower carbon content of this stainless steel provide better corrosion resistance then standard stainless. These guides endured the rigorous ASTM B-177 salt spray test for 50 days without sign of corrosion. Inserts are hard aluminum oxide to withstand the abuse of saltwater fishing.
