good little saw!,

"Very happy with this saw. Only had it a couple of weeks, but very glad i bought it. So far i've used it cleaning up shooting lanes and cut up some deadfalls. Definantely not as fast as a gas saw, but it's easier to handle(even with a recent shoulder injury) one handed. Multiple batteries are a must and the charger would be better off with a fully charged notice light."

Bring A Real Chainsaw,

"Recently had opportunity to try out my new cordless chainsaw on a 8 day camping/hunting trip. The weather was cold and the camp fire was both comfortable and usefull to thaw out frozen camp items. The chainsaw would bind easily on dead fall timber btwn 2"and 4". The battery quickly ran down and Black & Decker doesn't make a vehicle charger. I had also bought 2 additional batteries hoping to keep saw running for duration of trip; but all 3 bateries were dead by the 3rd day. It will probably serve well to cut down small limbs around a tree stand, but other than that... bring a real chainsaw."

"This is an excellent product. It is lightweight and very easy to use.The job that it was designed for, cutting small limbs etc. is exactly what it will do will very little effort. The light weight design make fatigue for the operator almost zero. The one thing that I did was to buy two extra batteries which does make it better. I wish that the charger had an indicator light or meter to show when the batteries are done to prevent overcharging. Other than that, great product."

Great saw for the wife.,

"Bought this saw at the request of my wife who uses it around the farm daily to trim brush for the goats to eat. Lightweight and very simple to use and maintain. The only downside is I didn't see any info in the package on ordering replacement chains.
If you're going to use it heavily or for a lot of 'shooting lane' clearing, buy the spare battery so you have two."

Quick and lightweight saw,

"I was a little worried about purchasing this chain saw. I felt that it may run down quickly. I was surprised at how well it performed. Keep in mind this is not designed to replace a gas powered chain saw. It has it's limitations. What I use it for is clearing the roads, trimming shooting lanes and quick fire wood around camp. I certainly recommend purchasing at least one or two backup batteries. This is a good product. Just don't try and go into the logging business with it and use it within its limitations and you will like it as well as I do."

"This chain saw cutts very well and battery life is excellent. Only complaint is the bar oiler (manual operation) and after the saw remains still the oil leaks out."
