shoe. Crafted with Pittards® 100% waterproof leather uppers, pigskin leather and polyester-mesh lining for
enhanced moisture wicking. The protective rubber heel will provide additional protection on rugged and rough terrain.
A flexible EVA anatomical footbed will cradle your foot, while an Air Cushion® midsole keeps it raised and
comfortable above the ground. The midsole is supported by a rear and front compression-molded EVA footframe, and
a nylon injection-molded arch shank to stabilize your foothold on inclines. A tough rubber Vibram® Adventure
Thermo™ outsole sports 5mm lugs that will grip the ground and keep you moving. Men's Sizes: 8-14. Half sizes to 12. Color: Oak.

"Very comfortable shoe but don't plan on doing any rough country hiking in them. There is no protection for the leather on the sides of the heals when you are in loose rough terrain. I scuffed my pair up bad on a hike and actually wore through the stitching on the heal. If Merrill had brought the heal rubber up the sides a bit more they would have had the perfect hiking shoe."

"Very comfortable right out of the box. Pitards leather is fully waterproof. I was unaware of the Polartec feature of this product -- a little hot down here in Texas (even in the winter), but will be my first choice for any trip to ski and mountain areas. Does not appear to be sturdy enough to be the main hiking shoe on a hiking vacation, but will do weel outdoors and for casual hiking."
