You have instant visual reference, graphically and in degrees, of the side-to-side and front-to-back angle so you know the extent of your pitch and roll at all times. In the center of the display panel is a free-floating magnetic compass to help you navigate. Attach the unit to your dash with automotive-grade double-sided tape or permanently mount it with screws (not included).

Owner/Operator,
March 7, 2008
By Rokarfrom Northern California
"I purchased 3 of this meters for our off road Toyota 4 Runners. My only problem with all 3 of them is the face fell off of them during shipping, the two-sided glue that is provided on them is not enough to hold the face plate on and in the heat of a vehicle they would also come off. So I had to use Super glue to tack the faces on all three of them and now they seem to stay put even in the 100 plus degree heat...
Otherwise a good purchase.."

More of a Novelty item,
January 29, 2008
By Bunky42from Arizona
"This item is weight drive. When you hit bumps and ruts it's all over the place, not very useful when you actually need it. I have mine on a Yamaha Rhino. It's cute and makes everyone ask "WOW! whats that" when they see it. Bling for your dash."

Broken before it could be mounted,
January 17, 2008
By nashsdadfrom KITTANNING, PA
"I purchased this unit as I thought it would be good to use in the field. When I took it out of the box and pointed it to the North it pointed SOUTH. The sticker on the face of the unit kept coming off. The two sided tape would not stick properly along with the base not being able to be adjusted to fit the dash of my UV."

UTV inclinometer,
January 16, 2008
By QuadBobfrom Arizona
"The product didn't meet my expectation for the following reasons: It doesn't stay adjusted in the level position as the pivot mechanism does not hold tight after setting The plastic film covering the inner workings of the instrument is loosley attached and I am afraid it will blow off while towing at highway speed It works as expected as it does measure pitch and roll quickly."

UTV Inclinometer Customer Review,
October 16, 2007
By YellowDogAlbertafrom Alberta, Canada
"ATV operating requires skill and good sense, especially if you want to keep yourself, youur passengers and gear safe and your ATV free of unwanted damage. The UTV Inclinometer provides detail on grade and sideslope angles and with a little pre-work on testing your ATVs stability this inclinometer will allow you to judge your trail safety - before you have a roll-over and end up with damaged gear or worse yet - injured. This inclinometer should be standard equipment on ATVs."

should work, but doesn't,
October 2, 2007
By rangeriderfrom Michigan
"While a good idea for our ATV, the compass is affected by the motor running, regardless of the position placement, nor does it indicate the correct direction with motor off, the pitch and yaw have similar problem, again regardless of the position. As an aside the adhesive is insufficently adept at keeping the item in place. All the above after carefully following the enclosed directions....................... Was a waste of money. Very disappointing."
