"After the purchaes of a new vehicle, I was amazed to find out that my 4 wire harnesses for my boat and trailer were no longer going to work, so I bought the 7-way combo wiring harness form Cabelas and it works like a charm. So to all that may read this I for one say buy it. Ha112"

"I used it for the first time going camping and the item is very usefull and easy to use. It was great to use to fill up the rear truck tires with an air compressor since the cord was to short to reach fron the console to the rear tires. It was also great to plug in a portable DVD player and set the unit on the tailgate to watch a movie."

"This adapter does not workwith my truck .My truck a 2002 Ford F-150 the 12 volt ciggarette type outlet will not work.
I called Pilot automotive the manufacture they said it will not work with your truck. I check ahead to make sure it would workwith your vehicle before purchasing."

"Had a problem at first...I plugged it in and nothing worked. After calling the tech. assistance # they walked me through the fact that my truck was missing the relay to power the plug. Picked up the relay at the auto store and the plug works great."

"This product is of high quality and worked exactly as I had hoped to privde 12v power at the rear of my truck. The only thing that I was not happy about was the fact that the flat adapter plug was a 5-way flat instead of a 4-way flat."

"I came acrross this in the magazine after i had purchased a compressor to inflate my airbags and thought it would be a nice to be able to plug the compressor some where in the rear of the truck so i would not have to run the cig plug through the window or even stretch the hose out like i have been.
This has been a great purhcase as it allows me to not only inflate my air bags with out have to stretch the cord and hose to their maximum, but it also gives me the ability to inflate my trailer tires where i would not have been able to running the compressor plugged into the cab at the cig outlet."

"I was pleased with this product except for the fact that the 4-way and 5-way adapter is reversed from what is normally found on other adapters. The 4-way on the adapter is a female plug and should be a male plug to conform to standard configuration of other adapters. Either have to change all the female plug ends on all my trailers or make a male-to-male adapter to use this. If it was conformed properly, it would be an outstanding assessory."
