"I purchased these shoes after being a long term New Balance wearer. The soles are terribly thin, the company makes a selling point of the "Abzorb EX" cushioning being 3/4 length, unfortunately this leave the ball of your foot and toes in very close contact with whatever you are standing on. The thin rubber sole at the front of the shoe provided no cushioning at all. The groove across the sole does not make the shoe easier to bend, it is simply a thin weak point allowing you to feel details of what you are standing on. They are the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever possessed, they hurt my feet by simply being on. On the plus side they are of the usual exceptional finish, they are simply designed wrong."

"THE 1008 CROSS TRAINER SHOE FIT WELL, WISKS MOISTURE, NO HEAT BUILD-UP, STRONG SUPPORT TO LIFT WEIGHTS, AND I DID NOT GET A BLISTER FROM BREAKING IN TIME.
