This top-of-the-line, all-terrain shoe incorporates the latest footwear technology by adding advanced
features to maximize performance and comfort. The Abzorb® EX heel combines premium foam and
a peripheral pocket of unpressurized air encapsulated in special thermoplastic to soak up shock and
cushion feet on hard, uneven terrain. The Abzorb forefoot utilizes foam material with superb cushioning
and compression set properties along with a blend of DuPont™ Engage® isoprene rubber and
proprietary material to maximize comfort. A C-Cap® midsole features compression-molded EVA for
support with flexibility. There's an internal shank that lends midfoot support and flex control without
adding weight. Lightweight, synthetic mesh uppers breath to allow air circulation while providing lateral
support. On the bottom you'll find an AT Tread™ outsole with a special lug pattern that combines a
trail and running lug configuration for exceptional performance on a variety of surfaces.

"I bought these shoes because new balance has allways been a good shoe for me these were no different for about a month then the padding inside just dissapeared and I had to put new insoles in them. Other than that the outside and the soles are great. But we all know that when you depend on having your feet comfortable for a 4 or 5 miles treek everyday we need the padding and support on the inside of the shoe. I will not buy anymore new balance becasue this is the second pair in a yeat that the insoles have dissentigrated."

"I've probably had 5-6 pair of New Balance shoes through the years, and I really like these. They are pretty light, and have good support, and I'm impressed so far how well they cushion my feet for as little as they seem to weigh. I'm 200 lbs. Only ran maybe 10 miles on them so far. Have nothing to really compare them to, so I gave them 4 stars, but I'd bet they are a 5 when compared to other brands."

"I'm 65 years old and certainly not a runner. I recently took my grankids to there school picnic. Walked in them from 10 in the morning to 9:30 in the evening, They felt just great.The only reason I only gave them a 4 is I'm not sure how the netting will hold up.
