"I tried a ton of different racks before settling on these. The common metal racks they sell at gun stores let your guns wiggle around and rattle against each other. These hold your guns tight, and they are pretty durable and don't hold moisture. I especially like how the hold revolvers, as anyone with a large handgun collection knows it can be more difficult to get revolvers to sit right in a pistol rack than semi-autos. Highly recommended."

Easy Care Gun Rack,

"Excellent product. I was a bit hesitant when I ordered this, not knowing if it would be sturdy enough. Once received, I was very satisfied as to how it holds my handguns securely, without any chance of scratching or mars. I have since gotten a second one."

Not so good for the Canadian shooter,

"I actually like the product but due to our storage laws in Canada we have to trigger lock the pistols and then they don't fit in to this product while using most trigger locks. I guess I can expand the unit as it describes in the instructions but then I have to by two of these to store 3 guns. If there was a wider model I would by more."

"I was a bit skeptical about ordering this because some folks were saying it was flimsy. I ended up giving it a try and it works perfectly. It supports the pistols I have put in it and there's room for an extra magazine or two next to the grip. It fit perfectly in the top of my safe and the foam will not scratch the weapon. The only improvement I could think of is gluing a piece of velcro to the bottom so it doesn't slide on the carpet in the safe. Great product."

"I would agree with the others. This is on the flimsy side. When I unboxed this I wondered how long it would last. I put my 2 - 45lc in it and it did not fall over. It was cheaply priced and constructed. Not really what I expected coming from Cabelas. It appears to work for gun storage in the safe, but I to will probably build something better in the future."

"This does do what it says it does, but the thing is that you have the pistol's barrels sticking out the back so you need a deep safe or vault to use it. You can stash special stuff behind it but than you need to go through the motions to get your special stuff out. The manufacture claims that it is expandable and I say to expand this would be a pain, but I guess it could."

"This little rack is a neat way to store handguns. It could be improved by adding some weight to the bottom, so that it stays put better when there are only one or two guns in the rack, but for the price, it's a good gun storage solution."

"Not very satisfied with this product. Looking at it in the catalog, it appeared to be made of stiff material. In reality it is a foam type construction. The walls of the outside pistol racks were crushed down in the box It came in and did not really straighten out too well. Fits in my top shelf of gun safe but weak construction causes it to sag under barrel weight of my large frame revolver. Good idea, could have been made of stiffer material."

"I purhased this pistol rack to put in my gun safe. I now can easily put the 3 pistols that I own, side by side in a small space , without fear that they will hit into each other. It seemed a little flimsy at first, but I have been using it for about three weeks now, and I am confident that the product will hold up for a long time. I own a target pistol with a large frame and a 6" barrel, and it barely fits. It looks like it is too big for the slot, yet it is stable and well protected and so far, the rack has worked out very well."
