"This is a well-made coat at a decent price. Unfortunately I could not get one that fit me. I am a new shopper to Cabela's, so it took me a couple of tries to figure out that my accustomed XL is too wide in Cabela's clothing, like they are cut for ranch women more muscular than I am. So I tried the L and that was still wide at the shoulder. I suppose that this coat is cut for wearing a heavy sweater underneath, but i don't live in such a cold climate that i needed that."

"I liked this coat, color and style were great, but I had to size up because the arms were just not long enough. I wish arm length would be taken into consideration, not everyone is average short armed. Most of us have long arms, or like to have the sleeve come over our wrist just a bit.
Just a suggestion.
But I did like the coat and I know I will get a lot of use out of it."

"I just LOVE this coat. I ordered one in wheat and then another one in red. Its warm, stylish and very comfortable. The only problem I found was that the sleeve could be just a tad bit longer as you are able to cuff them. I wear it to work, out to dinner or to the hunting camp. All in all a great coat for the money..."

"Unfortunately we have not had the opportunity to use this coat to date as we had to return it due to it being too large. The previous reviewers had stated that the coat fit small and to order the next larger size. This obviously is not the case in all instances as that is what we did. If you for example take a regular size 8 womens coat then go with the medium size canvas barn coat - the large will look like a tent on you. Like the look of the coat though and am looking forward to acquiring the exchange."

"This barn coat is not thinly made. It is actually quite substantial, and when worn with a sweater, I can wear it on a nice winter day. "I am glad I read the other reviews about the sleeves of the jacket are alittle short, so I ordered a bigger size. Overall, I really love it. I have been wearing the jacket whenever possible, on the not sooooooo cold days. Yes, I do recommend this Barn Coat. If you are really tall, I am not so sure, tho. I am in between(5"6'), and the sleeves are alil' short for me."

"This is a well made coat; quality material and attention to detail. The coat runs extremely small to size. I usually wear an XL comfortably and I ordered a 2X due to the reviews. It is more snug than I like- wearing it with a bulky sweater will be impossible. Still, it is a great buy for the price."
