"Don't bother 4 any hunting at all unless its birds! Get a breathable sock for deer hunting. As most know Scent-lok is designed 2 trap in all odors, but when your feet sweat in rubber boots, the scent seeps threw so bad you could gag yourself. If you want to help yourself, wash a breathable sock in a hunting soap so your socks don't stink going in and leaving your hunting area."

"These socks are ok if you're sitting in a bow stand in mild weather. I tried them on an elk hunt where I was doing a lot of hiking and they are not as good as the Cabelas brand socks. They are thinner and don't have as much cushion. I won't buy these socks again, I'll opt for the Cabelas brand which is cheaper anyway."

"Not sure how they are at keeping foot odors at bay but they seem to destinkify. I wore them under my Lacrosse rubber boots and they were a little smelly when I took them off. Hung them up a while and the smell was gone. Probly be better for stinky feet people than deer hunters. LOL! All joking aside, I didn't think they would cure the problem but they do seem to help! Now if they could get them down to where I could buy about three pair without breaking the bank."

"These socks are lightweight and dry easy. I wore these socks in Alaska hunting black bears. With wet boots daily, these socks dried great. They absord all foot odors fantastic."

"These socks don't work. They stank horribly after a few heavy uses. (with washings in between with scent lok detergent) By heavy use I mean days where my feet sweated and I wore the socks for long hours. Using these socks on subsequent days without washing would have been out of the question. I put them in the back of my van and the whole vehicle reeked until I got them out. The socks are comfortable and seem sturdy. But for scent control I cannot recommend them. The x-static socks or x-scent socks are better. I have worn these on subsequent days and although they too end up stinking it takes longer and the odor is much less."

"I bought these socks at the end of the season last year and started using them this year, so not sure about durability but they look good after a season of use. They are a snug fitting sock and I found them to have plenty of room around the calf(& I have a large leg). Very comfortable, they stay up and don't bunch around your ankle, they have plenty of padding but they are not too bulky, can't even tell you are wearing them! You can wear them for several trips without having to reactivate them every time. A little expensive, but most good hunting socks are. I can't give a 5star rating because I have not used them long enough to know, but very good so far!"
