"I bought this as a boat mounted unit, the unit worked good the first couple of times but then it would not start up and would have lines on the screen, it would kick on after a few minutes. We used it like this 2 more times and then it would not turn on at all. the unit was replaced and this one works fine but if it does it again I will return this unit and buy another brand."

"I was ice fishing for Lake Trout in northern Manitoba Canada. We were fishing in 100 ft of water. I was able to see my lure and any fish that happened to pass by. Having the sonar show the fish suspended at different depths allowed me to bring my lure right into fishes strike zone. Almost always triggering a hit. It really makes me wonder how many fish I was missing with out sonar. A friend an older sonar but wasn't able to pick everything up so crisp and clear. Definitely a good investment."
