"After years of searching for and trying lots of home made rubs, I actually found one that works great right out of the container. Just rub it on and heat the grill for some of the best pork ribs around. I like it because its easy always perfect(unless you like tobasco ribs, and I don't). About half way through the process I sprinkle a little brown sugar on top of them. Most of my guests don't even think about adding another sauce, which is always on the table. We're to busy enjoying the ribs to stop ."

"We've been using 5 varities of these seasonings for almost 3 years.
They are great on all kinds of steaks and fish. Every time we have steaks of some of my famous 1 1/2 Center Cut Pork Chops sprinkled with one of these we have compliment after compliment. Everyone wants to know where we got them so they can order them as well.

"I have been using a verity of these spices for the last few years and am very pleased. I normally use them in conjunction with some additional spices but they will do well on their own. The only problem I see is Cabela's has so many choices it's going to take me forever to try them all."

"I have tried a number of the different Open Season Spice flavors available at Cabela's. We like them all. Most especially we really like the versatility of the "All Purpose" flavor. It is perfect for Chicken, Pork, and any vegetable(s) you might serve. It just gives a wonderful flavor to anything it is applied to. Though we find the line of Open Season a bit on the high priced side; the All Purpose Spice is a must for our cabinet.

"I was visiting my friend in Texas and she took me to Cabela's. While there looking around i saw these spices they looked interesting so i bought a couple,the Blackened Seasoning and the Jamaican Island rum spice . Well the blackened spice on my steaks was unbeatable even better than the montreal steak spice and the Jamaica Rum spice is awesome on Chicken and fish plus the whole house smells of Jamaian rum spice when i cook with it now i have to get my friends to send me more. I think I'll will get them to pick me up some of the others to try, from reading these reviews and trying for myself can't lose. Oh and i have to try that beer can chicken sounds awesome ,Wonder if you can do it with rum. LOL"

I was searching for a new way to fix grilled chicken when I ran across this seasoning. Toss all the ingredients listed in the directions together, let it marinade and then grill. The results are delicious."
