Excellent,
March 25, 2009
By hrdrock1977from Dallas, Texas
"I used this product for the first time this past weekend; camping at Gualdalupe State Park in Texas.
The park ranchers warned us that raccoons were vary active at night and would ramsack our camp site.
We stored all of our dry goods in the cupboard and hoisted it to the trees. We were glad we had purchased this great product."

Great Product,
May 29, 2008
By CamperDude1from AB, Canada
"This thing is actually pretty cool. It is quite sturdy and stores quite a bit. With it's 6 side storage pouches and a paper towel holder, it really is handy! It is a little pricy though... I would recommend this product."

Cabela's Heavy-Duty Army Cot Kit - Wotta Deal,
March 8, 2008
By Deployed
"This is a terrific deal. The cot kit, which includes the nightstand, cot tree and carrying bag were just what I needed to get my "hooch" together for our intermittent deployments. It is priced conveniently and light enough to drag around in my duffel.
I had read some comments that the cot tree fasteners were not sturdy enough to hold much weight and while this might have some validity, I hung the "kitchen cabinet"* on the crossbar of the tree and everything held together very well. I used this combination for some time with no catastrophic (or otherwise) drops or collapses.
Recommended for folks who want camp space to hang the important stuff.
*(Creek Company Hanging Camp Cupboard-found under Camping > Outdoor Cooking > Camp Kitchens )
P.S. Follow directions to get the cot together. I was able to do it, and I'm not very strong."

Camp cupboard,
October 30, 2007
By whitemud2from Peace River, Alberta Canada
"I bought 3 of these a couple of weeks ago and put them to use in hunting camp right away. They hold quite a lot of stuff in them. The shelf spacing is fairly adequate but could be slightly further apart for some taller items. The shelves are fairly sturdy but will sag under weight. A slightly stronger shelf material would do wonders. I am using mine in a wall tent with an internal frame. They are a little difficult to keep level as the straps tend to slip as you add weight resulting in the whole cupboard wanting to lean forward. You can correct this but it is a little difficult with weight in them. A non slip surface on the straps would help a lot. Overall, I really like them and a little tweaking would make them a "10". I love my hanging camp cupboard!,
August 28, 2007
By Puffiefrom Byron Center, MI
"I have a horse trailer that I use as a camper when my horse and I are camping. This cupboard is always in my trailer, with non-perishables, plates, pans, etc. stashed inside. In the event my friends and I decide to stay overnite after a riding adventure, I'm pretty much set! I like its roominess and it is very sturdy. I'm very satisfied with this product."

great product,

"The product worked great, we set it up under the nose of the horse trailer. I would like it if the shelves would be able to hold a cereal box without laying it flat, but otherwise we really like the product."

It's not water resistant!,
June 19, 2007
By JPatchfrom Houston, TX
"This item is not water resistant. We went camping and it rained. I was under the impression that the items would be kept dry. Unfortunately, everything was soaked! As long as you know that you have to take it down and put it away for a rainy day, it isn't too bad. The storage was great. It kept everything neat and organized. We didn't have to go rummaging through bins everytime we wanted something. I was surprised at how much it actually holds."

camp cupboard,
June 18, 2007
By BwanaBillfrom Monterey CA
"I received my hanging camp cupboard just as I was leaving for a camping trip with my wife and grandson. When she saw me packing it she rolled her eyes as just another of my "toys". When it was set up in the kitchen, she commented on how handy it was in keeping everything organized and accessable. The camp cupboard packs up with hardly any space and when installed it actually holds everything needed for a camp kitchen. The tables can actually be used as tables again because everything that used be spread out on the table is in the cupboard. The zippered cover does an awesome job of keeping the dust out also. I can't wait to see the faces on my buddies in hunting camp this fall.

Camp Cupboard,
May 15, 2007
By GWSIIIfrom Greenville, Wisconsin
"This product is great. This beats the heck out of bringing all the food in big plastic boxes. It allows you to organize stuff just like in your kitchen at home. I took my Cub Scout Den camping last weekend, and it worked great. The boys were able to find stuff, and more importantly keep it neat! The only downfall is that you need either some large trees near your kitchen set up, or, as I did, you need to take some 2*4s and a closet rod, and make an A frame to hold the cupboard. We had rain one night on the weekend, and in the morning, all the food was nice and dry."

Easy living,
November 14, 2006
By DrNaturalfrom Santa Fe, NM
"Set up this cupboard for easy access to your food and for protection from varmints. The shelves collapse making it easy to carry, but it hangs up 1,2,3 and is sturdy. I loaded the pantry with heavy things and there was no problem. It stablizes on the bottom too if you want it anchored. I'm all about spending my time in nature, not rooting through backpacks looking for things. This makes that happen for me and my friends I camp with."
