Not for 10 hr. days on cement,

"My husband works on his feet, on cement for 10 hours a day. We chose these boots because work requires the comp. toe, but also for the other features. What we forgot to notice was that he really needs extra thick padding to protect his feet from the natural draining power of cement. Initially, these boots felt great. After a few full 10 hr. days on his feet, he needs extra foot padding."

"These boots are a great work item. They're very lightweight and yet rugged. They're comfortable to walk in for hours; my usual work day is 10 hours plus. The break-in time is less than for normal boots, yet the tongue may be a little to thick which is about the only thing I'd suggest changing. Hopefully, Converse will continue to manufacture this model of work boot as this is my second pair and I wouldn't hesitate to by a third when the time comes."

"very unsatisfied. Purchased correct size but very hard on the feet, had stop wearing the shoes after only one week of use. My job requires a lot of walking and standing; the shoes just wouldn't break in. The only good thing I can say about them is that they are slip resistant on slippery wet, oily floors."

"This is my second pair of these boots. I work construction. They hold up amazingly well, and remain comfortable day in and day out. The composite toe make transversing security checkpoints a breeze, and the new sole design gives me the safety of a non slip surface, and maintains the comfort of my original pair. You wont regret getting a pair of these."

"I would gladly give these five stars other than they are so not water-proof, can't even walk through dew covered grass to retreive morning paper without getting feet wet. Other than that I have worked in the oil fields for eighteen years and have spent countless hours in steel toe boots and these are certainly a much needed break. I still have to wear steel toe shoes in the shop and an occasional well sight visit and these are a pleasure to wear. I highly recomend these for light duty, but keep the old steel toes around for when duty calls."

"I'm in the construction field and was looking for a good work shoe that was good for a construction site but most important was comfortable. I'm on my feet all day and comfort is very important to me. If my feet hurt or feel cold or feel heavy from the weight of a boot or are feeling like they can't breathe from being in a boot all day then my day is over! I've been wearing the boots for 2 months now and so far so good. They have kept their comfort and durability. I would recommend these to a guy who works all day on his feet."
