"I love this book, I just wish I could put in my back pocket, ha ha! The illustrations are done in shades to show the direction of the line, and the pictures are large for those of us that can't see to good. Also nice is the origin notes. I'm glad my favorite store has it and they sold me on a good thing with their discription. Geoffrey Budworth is the authors full name."

"Need the best info for the river and salt fisherman is to get this book. that I can not disclose due to inprop use of title the complete book of (fisherman's) knots also from I have gotten from the same store that was both very infor'tiv I find the best for the avg joe's is this book. More info then what I would have ever expected. Not a salty dog."

"This is a pretty good knot tying book. I think that it could provide a bit more detail when giving knot tying directions. For the price, you might think that it would tie the knot for you - but otherwise, it is well written; well illustrated; and helpful. You do find out that there are multiple names for the same knot. I bought this to get a good handle on tying a strong snell knot for drum. Of course there are many variations - but you have to start somewhere - and practice makes perfect. Good luck!"
