"I bought this rod hoping that it would be long enought for a full length .45 cal Kentucky rifle I am using for an upcoming traditional antelope hunt in ID. I wanted a long and durable rod for range work in working up loads and getting sighted in. This did the job well and the size and diameter made it easy to push down and fully seat patched balls and maxi-balls. A good piece of equipment."

"This rod is excellent for use in non-hunting situations. It is very sturdy and reduces the time for reloading as it does not need to be removed from the thimbles after each shot. I shoot a rifle that has an extendable rod so the Knight range rod is especially helpful during shooting sessions."

"This rod is perfect for what it's name suggests ... use on the range. This rod is long in length for cleaning the barrel as well as the breach. It's "T" handle makes it easy to load while at the range. You never have to remove you regular ramrod. I would like to see this item able to be broken down into two sections for easier storage. Overall, however, it is a good tool to have for muzzleloader shooters."
