air lucky, February 10, 2009
By mochamike from pendleton, oregon

"never got to use it in the field. lubed the wing shafts. The wind blew after season was over and worked great in the wind. Don't care for the stake that comes with it. I would recommend geting a different shaft in a longer length. Other than that it looks very real."

air lucky duck, February 3, 2009
By Robert71 from oregon, go ducks!!!

"I liked the light weight and ease of use. even with no wind it was helping bring the ducks in. we had to turn the decoy around so the ducks would come at us from the front instead of buzzing over the back of the blind. just having a decoy above the water made a beter presentation of the decoy spread. only thing that would make the deal better is if the unit came with some sort of carring case."

Nice spread addition, January 27, 2009
By Nickno1 from Oxford, OH

"If you hunt in an area with a reliable 5-10 mph wind minimum, this can be a nice addition to your decoy spread. Good color and realism on the body. I used 2 in a late season spread this past season and the ducks looked like they were on strings the way they headed for the decoys. Can also be mounted on a 1/2" piece of rebar or pipe, so you don't HAVE to use the included mounting stake. Nice price, so you don't have to spread the money on a motorized decoy to get the same effect."

Economical Solution, January 13, 2009
By NGAKyle from Coosawattee River, GA

"I recently bought 3 of these to add a little motion to my spread. Since I hunt in the South we almost always want cloudy windy days to hunt waterfowl of any kind so wind power is good enough for me (especially for the price). First morning out with these in my spread I brought in 4 woodies, 6 green heads, and 4 Canadian Geese. long story short, couldn't be happier."

air lucky duck, January 6, 2009
By pdh72 from marysville washington

"this is a great addition to any decoy spread i gave it a four for just one reason to get the wings to spin good i had to apply some of my bowstring wax to the rods. this is the second one that i have put in my spread and i'm planning to add at least one more to my spread next year."

Buy Motorized!, January 4, 2009
By EarlyCarp from Arkansas

"Save your money, not worth the money to ship back for credit! The one I received the wings did not look like this, looked better but still no good. We have modified in every way possible except to put on a motor, this will be our next step. One wing may turn while the other stays still no matter what you do to it in calmer winds, now in gale force winds it looks as though it may take off! When the winds are gale force you surely do not need the movement in your decoys, they should already be swimming!"

Air Lucky Duck, January 1, 2009
By Cattail from Greenville OH

"You definitely need some wind to operate these. They do look good though. Haven't been able to use them much so I can't give a good report. They do hang up a little and for some reason mine hang up on the left wing most. I haven't tried it yet but will get some powdered graphite and rub it on shafts to see if it will work better. For the money, I think it is worth having."

"I love how simple this thing is. No worries of dead batteries. The down fall of course is you need a wind. If it's not windy the hunting not that great anyway."

Air Lucky Duck, December 6, 2008

"I have had other ones with one rod that propels both wings and work better. This one, if the wind is right, only one wing goes at a time. Not impressed."

Air LUcky Duck, November 18, 2008
By MasterSargeant from St Paul, Minnesota

"Is very good quality. What I found out is that the wings are out of balance. The white painted half of each wing is heavier than the gray painted half. I filed down the full length of the edge of the white painted wing, balancing both halves out, and the wings rotated much better. WOrks best with winds over 7 mph. One other suggestion is to get a longer stake - 6 feet or longer."

With 15 MPH or higher winds, works great."

It could be better, November 16, 2008
By duckht83 from Manteca, CA

"Having used the Air Lucky Duck for a few years now I've had my likes and dislikes about this product. Its a good decoy to use down here in california before dec 1st because it draws the ducks in like a mojo, my only problem I have with it is the vibrations in the wings and the ducks begin to flare off at 40 yds. Find a way to quiet down those wings and then we're good."
