"When i was loading some 40 cal brass i let one get by without its primer. I said to myself it is time to try that new cabelas bullet puller, with just 4 or 5 easy blows on my reloading table it slip right out of the brass. It workes great."

Does the job,

"This has worked great the times I have had to use it.
The collet system seems a little weak but don't use them.
Simple and easy solution is to use a shell holder for the round you are pulling apart."

Cabela's Kinetic Bullet Puller,

"As with any new project come some mistakes, I'm no different. I have used Cabela's Bullet puller to help me fix my reload mistakes. This puller works as advertised. I have unloaded about 20 -30 bullets and it works great. Quick, easy, and strong. I hope I don't need it much more but if I do,I know it will do the job. Used to unload bigger magnum rifle and handgun rounds."

works okay,
April 29, 2009
By indianaguy

"I used this to pull about 200 old 7.62x54r bullets over the course of 2 evenings, and had no real problems. It is important to tighten the cap after EACH hit. Also, you need a solid surface to hit against. Simply placing a pine board on a carpeted floor will leave you frustrated, whereas hitting an anchored piece of hardwood will work wonders. Would rate it higher, but it is fairly cheap and flexible, and it would be easy to break the cap or the rubber bands that hold the collets together. Overall, I am satisfied and would buy another if I needed to."

Works as advertised,

By andy22687

"I am new to loading. Before I got the puller I forgot to put the powder in one case before I installed the bullet. I ruined the case and the bullet trying to get them apart. I have since had occasion to use the puller and it "Works as advertised". There was no damage to either the bullet or case. In the long run it will pay for itself in salvaged bullets and reduced aggravation."

Great value,

"I purchased the Cabela's Bullet Puller when first starting to reload. I thought I might need it to fix mistakes but, found it great for pulling about 1000 rounds of surplus 45ACP. Broke the cap on the first one because I didn't check the tightness, have been using the second without any issues. The different size collets are a great help. Would strongly recommend this to anyone."

Bullet Puller,
March 14, 2009
By kpla

"2 nd one of these i have owned. First one was a RCBS , same thing. they will work on lightly seated bullets or magnum loads (SOMETIMES), most of the time it is a time consuming pain. the screw that goes over the collet often breaks, you have to continuously tighten the screw to keep tension on the shell. Sometimes you have to hit it 5,10,15 times hard and nothing happens. Worthless in my opinion. Going to buy a puller that mounts on my press."

Cabela's Bullet Puller,
February 11, 2009
By Gunandalake

"I found the bullet puller worked very well. I came across 750 rounds of 44 Mag. bullets loaded by an unknown person. I didn't want to shoot these because I did not know what he had in there. I bought the puller and stated pulling slugs and reloading the brass. Once I figured out that you need to give the holder a 1/4 turn loose and let it re-grip then re-tighten on the bass with every blow it worked very well. Takes about 3 to 4 good smacks to get the slugs out. I've pulled about 500 rounds so far and it's still working."

"This is a well made easy to use. Worked with every bullet I put in it) Pulled about 100 bullets in less than an hour.
Make sure you have a piece of 2X4 handy to hit. After fairly heavy use it still looks brand new"
