"Have worn this for two winters. Yes, coat is bulky. Hood is bulky. This coat is made to keep you warm, not to make a fashion statement. Yes, hood is bulky when seated in a vehicle and hood is down between you and seat. But if your vehicle is cold in the morning or conditions are windy, it will break the wind and keep you warm. I have driven to work with heater left off wearing this in 30 degree weather."

"This is the warmest jacket I've owned! It's a little on the heavy side, but is well made. The Thinsulate insulation is extremely warm. I don't tolerate the cold well anymore( I live in Georgia for a reason), and with this jacket have no problem or hesitation on going outside."

"This jacket was much heavier and warmer that it looked. It is a great winter coat which will keep you warm in quite cold and windy weather. My only objection is with the hood which seems to not have enough material to lie down flat on the back when not in use. The hood does protect you from the wind though, and keeps your head as warm as the coat does your body. The pockets are large and the coat is very durable and should last for a long time. I wholeheartedly reccommend it to anyone looking for a coat that will keep you warm in cold and windy weather."

"Nice jacket, well insulated to keep you warm in very cold weather. Confortable hood. Jacket seems a little stiff/tight but hopefully will loosen with wear. Wouldn't wear in cool/milder temps due to the stiffness."
