"Growing up hunting and camping I have slept a lot of nights on the ground. Sometimes even while in a tent I slept on the ground. most cots worth sleeping on are too bulky and heavy to carry with full camping and hunting gear for any length of time. I then discovered the Cabela's Folding Cot With Airbed. This was the first time I slept outside and hated to get out of bed, and when I did I felt rested and not as if I had just lost a rock fight in my sleep. I will not go outside without my Cabela's Folding Cot With Airbed.

"We just bought two of these cots and took them on a three-night camping trip. Both my husband and I loved the comfort of the airbed as well as ease of setup and takedown. My only wish would be that the little hanging bag would be detachable so that you could put it on either side of the cot. But other than that, we were very pleased! We had to add air on the third night, but not that much. The best part is that the whole thing fits back into the bag VERY easily!"

"It's easy to put up, and comfortable initially, but my biggest complaint is the mattress doesn't hold air well. By morning, it has significantly deflated. To make matters worse, the filler cap assembly cracked after minimal use, so the air mattress is useless, unless I can get Cabelas to send me a cap assembly. The collapsible design is easy to set up, but all those cross bars underneath make storing anything like a duffle bag below the cot impossible. Coleman has a better alternative in 2008."

"I was looking for comfort and regular cot height taking up the smallest possible space, and this cot does it. The quality is very, very good with a lot of nice touches. I haven't had it up over several days yet, but putting it up and taking it down to test it out went smoothly. And it's comfortable! It stows away in the back of a closet."

"With our grandkids coming to visit, we purchased two of the Folding cots. We found the design well thought out and well done. The aluminum frame, with attached support sling and bag for the airbag worked very well. The air pump did a fine job of filling as well as deflating the airbed. We have since ordered and received our third folding cot with airbed."

"I am very happy with the folding cot this one is the second I purchaced so my wife and I each have one. Cot works great, easy to put together and take down. Stores easily and packs well for travel. One small issue the mattress tends to squeek when you move when laying on it. I plan on trying some talcum powder on the mattress to see if it fixes the issue."

"I was sceptical when I first ordered this cot. It took only minutes to assemble (more like unfold) and inflate. After reading other reviews I chose to also purchase Cabela's Fleece Sleeping Bag Item:UH-516244 and use this to cover the mattress. The mattress almost fits like a glove, but not the large size, the regular size fleece bag. It keeps me very warm, almost too warm. But for less than $100 this is a cot I will use for the next 5-10 years camping and when I have company they dont have to sleep on the sofa or the couch."

"Purchased the folding cot w' air matress for the Colorado deer hunting season (8 days). Last year slept on a low cot and froze in a North Face 0 F degree sleeping bag. This sesason used the Cabella's cot and it was GREAT! It was so cold that we ate most meals in the tent on the cot and it worked super. The temps were as low as 5 degrees F at 10,500 feet and the air matress was not only comfortable but provided an air cushion for insulation. Upon return and cleanup after the hunt (successful by the way) I noticed that the stiching on the the cover had either come loose or was not properly stiched to begin with. Called Customer Service and talked with Cynthia who was most cooperative and who is sending out a new cot and gave me directions for returning the problem cot. Great service and at no charge (even for shipping) for me. I am less than 2oo pounds so weight wasn't the problem but I am not certain that if I weighed more than 225 pounds that I would take a chance. Cot came in quality carrying case, had a neat mesh gadget holder and an airpump that actually worked. Best of all I was actually able to get it back into the carrying bag!!! Overall a great product!"
