"i received the avery finisher just in time for our march season ... very pleased, well made ,easy to set up and take down even in the dark. i like it's light weight and it folds small enough making it easy to carry and i give it a plus for comfort. we had a lot of snow and below freezing temperatures, i stayed pretty warm and dry as the geese were falling from the sky...buy one , you won't go wrong!"

    Finish This, March 12, 2008
    By Ironskater89 from Lowell, IN

"Once again another great product from Avery. This blind is awesome, if you don't have one, go get one. If your thinking about buying a layout blind this is the one for you. It's super low profile, and very lightweight. I think it's one of the easiest blinds to put together, and is very durable. Very roomy inside, with lots of space. I just bought one of these and I cannot wait to use it in the field. Go buy Avery's Killer Weed package and put it on this and your ready to go.
Note: I have several friends that have this and they have yet to "Mud" their blind and they hammer the geese every year, so in my opinion you do not need to mud this blind."

    Super Blind, February 14, 2008
    By IGOTEM

"This year on our annual Nebraska duck hunt we tried field hunting for Mallards for the first time. We had a great hunt but we had to put on white suits and lay in the snow. The next day we purchased 4 Avery Finisher blinds from Cabela's. Wow what a difference. No more rows and corn stuble to lay in. The ducks came right in with no hesitiation. What a wonderful product. After the season was over I purchased two more. Can't wait til next year."

great layout blind, February 12, 2008
By goose1242 from Wood County, Texas

"I bought the blind for use around my farm pond where there is little to no cover. The first time i used it, it was not mudded and not brushed up. Ducks were landing within yards of me and i went unnoticed. especially roomy inside and a great guard from the wind."

    Finisher Blind, January 10, 2008
By JBean from Ocean City ,NJ

"Great blind for staying mobile. Easy to set up and take down. A little on the heavy side, and it is a bit over priced. I have had the Avery blind for three or four years now, and it is holding up very well. The Cabelas Mobile 1 blind is virtually the same, but lighter and cheaper. I don't know if it will stand the test of time like the Avery Finisher though."

    Finisher, November 29, 2007
    By duckhuntersbe101 from Franklin, TN

"I hunted in my finisher for the first time last week. it was pretty good. the consealment was good. the bad part was getting into it. i got my seat all muddy and getting in it was a workout. i was also using the neotub. the neotub worked but it shortened the blind. i am 6ft tall and my head was barely sticking out of the top. i would reccomend the cabelas intercepter ultimate blind. it has a built in "neotub" and a zippered foot end for cleaning."

    Great Hide, November 28, 2007
    By jstarck from Lusk, WY

"This blind has been very durable and is very comfortable to hunt out of on those long cold mornings. I feel asleep on more than one occasions and woke up the sound of geese committing to our spread one of those times.

The only thing I would have done differently was to get it in field khaki instead of the Max-4 that I got it in. I think Max-4 is just too dark and with field khaki, after you put all the foliage in the stubble straps you have the best camo possible for your area."

Great blind, but..., November 22, 2007
    By duckhunter301 from Maryland

"...the instructions need to be revised. There are key steps on the assembly of the blind that are not in the instructions (like the front frame risers for example).

I'd give it a 5 star rating if they had only updated their documentation. Fits a 230lb 5'11" guy no problem."

    GREAT PRODUCT !!!!!, November 21, 2007
    By WingBlaster from Northern Illinois

"Hands down one awesome bird hunting tool !!!!!!
I have three in my personal arsenal, just so I can put more gunners in the field.

The Finisher sets up and folds down in well under one minute. I like the fact that you can fold them up fully brushed. This saves a ton of early morning spread building time.

Portability is always an issue when packing gear. The Finisher fits in very well and can easily be stacked in or on top of any load. When the need arises, you can even sling it over your shoulder and walk it on in.

My blinds are in the middle of their 4th season and still holding up strong. We smack them down in the mud 3-4 times per week (completely abused) and have never had a problem with them.

At the end of the day, it's really all about performance. The low profile doesn't flare birds and the durability keeps me in the field. I would highly recommend this blind to anyone!"
