"Brass was clean and they shoot pretty accurately and consistently. I think I've had one misfire out of somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 rounds that I have put through my AR-15.
My only real problem with these is the foam flat that the ammo is packaged in within the box, horrible, you'll probably be picking some up off the floor from time to time."

"I went to the gun range last week and left with a big smile on my face, I shoot a AR-15 Match Grade Barrel, I shot all kinds of ammo with ok results but the Ultramax Ammo shot 1/4" five shot groups with both .223 Rem Hollow Point 68gr & 75gr at 100yds. I will be buying more of this ammo."

"Was leery at first at using reloads in my new A/R, but since I've reloaded my own .12ga. for years, why not?
Have been to my favorite indoor range, these rounds sure made me look good. And the price was very good also.,When I get these 600 rounds burnt, I'll be back. My new rifle is still performing as well as I can make it...this ammo is pretty clean burning as well...Thanks, cent. Texan"

"Great ammo but had one out of 60 fail to fire. That is still better than the Russian brands that fail quite frequently by my experience. Dont be afraid to try the Ultramax it is cheaper than new loads but better than the tempting Russian ammo."

"I've used Ultramax ammo for years and have gotten excellent accuracy and performance with it. When I saw it was available at Cabelas I jumped on it. In the ammo crisis we're experiencing any ammo is good ammo, but with my prior experience using Ultramax, I knew I was getting some great ammo. The 68gr match hollow point ammo is extremely accurate in both 1/7 and 1/9 twist AR15 barrels.
Ultramax 55gr ball and 55gr soft point ammo compares to Winchester Q3131 in accuracy and performance. The 52gr match hollow point is best for bolt action rifles as it's not crimped and you can experience bullet set-back if used in an autoloader. Great ammo and I've shot thousands of rounds of Ultramax ammo with no problems of any kind. The same goes with the .308 ammo which functions perfectly and is very accurate in my M1A. Great ammo at a great price --- a win, win situation anyway you look at it."

"This shoots just under a minute of angle in my Remington 700 .223- the most accurate so far, and better than several brands of factory non-remanufactured ammunition. Surprisingly, better than the Black Hills cosmetic seconds."

"I purchased the 75gr Ultramax to shoot in my 1:8 barrel Rock River AR at a highpower shooting class. All shoots were at 200 yards on the range. After dialing in, the ammo shot well. Very accurate. Shooting prone, no bi-pod, with a sling I was able to shoot 99 out of 100 points with 5 X's at 200 yards. The ammo is better than the shooter when it comes to sitting or off hand shooting!
I do think Blackhills shoots better, but at almost 2x the cost, Ultraamax is a great value for shooters. Go with the 75 grain if you have a 1:8 twist rate.
I have also shot the Ballistic Tip 55 grain, it shoots well in a 1:9 twist rate barrel. Very good expansion! Again, remanufactured brass is fine, the bullets look nice and shoot well. I shot a ten shot group at just over 0.75" at 100 yards with the 1:9 twist barrel."

"This is an excellent ammo deal. Groups of .5 inches at 100yds from a bushmaster carbine with Trijicon 3.5x ACOG. Killed a turkey at 180yds with a base of the neck shot two days after sighting in with this ammo with the same AR 15. Ammo looks brand new, is packaged very profesionally. Recommend without hesitation and have ordered another 500 rounds for hunting."

"I have shot about 100 rounds of this ammo so far and had only one jam but I attribute that to a cheap magazine.
It seems to be fine for the range and/or "plinking".
Definitley a good price from Cabela's."
