Ratchet-Loc Bow Press

It's lightweight (2-1/2 pounds), folds down compactly and compresses any bow - even those with long risers and parallel limbs-in seconds. Simply slide the CNC-machined aircraft-grade-aluminum brackets over your limbs and cinch the ratchet until there's enough slack in the string and cables to do the repair. This press gives you easy access to cams, string and cables, and doesn't require an adapter for split-limb bows. Brackets have rubber-coated pins to protect your bow's finish. Carry case included.

I could not get the press to work on my new Bear Encounter, the limbs flare out below the cams and you can not slide the arms up high enough to clear the cams and string.

I purchased a ratchet loc bow press to work on my bow. The bowpress works very well for everything from tying in a peep sight to changing strings or cables and even replaceing cams. iIhighly recomend this press as it is a sturdy, rock solid, and reliable peice of equipment that will come in handy to almost every archer that is wanting to save a few buck or learn to do things on their own.

Was a little reluctant to buy one of these to use on my new Hoyt split limb bow but so glad i did. It is a lifesaver when you are in the middle of season on the mountain and need to adjust anything on your bow. It works great and absolutely harmless to use on your high price, parallel split limb bow.
