Patented folding technology gives coyote hunters incredible lightweight portability. Nearly life-sized when deployed, this decoy packs down to a 10" x 10" x 2" bundle that weighs just a pound. You can pack it up, move locations, and set it up again quickly, giving you more time to hunt.
Of all the tricks I've tried this takes the cake, I have never seen coyotes react to a decoy like this one! Working call shy dogs in Idaho is always tough but adding this to my back pack has paid dividends. The size and weight make this even better
I have been hunting coyotes for three years. As successful as I have been with deer and turkeys, my coyote learning curve was agonizingly long...my only kill was an accidental one that trotted past my stand during archery deer season.
I finally learned to call with the Primos calls (check out anything Randy Anderson does), and I got some wary dogs to come in. They would not commit, however, and quickly became pretty call savvy.
Enter Kojo - 5 minutes into a great setup and a few female "coyote in heat calls" and a big dog with his mate came trotting in. Both of them spotted Kojo and just went wild...but not for long as that .22-250 whizzed through the skull of the big male.
I feel like I finally have something that will make me a successful predator hunter, too. So many 'yotes around here have heard the distress calls but adding the realism of another 'yote, well, that just did the trick!
I used this decoy to build some confidence on a group of educated coyotes. Like many other animals putting a picture to the sound makes a huge diffrence on smart coyotes who have been called before. The decoy worked for me, and I killed two problem dogs right before calfing season.
