Does not sound like a pheasant and they do not react on it. Maybe this could be used in a duck hunt.

Save your money on this Call. I did not read the reviews on it and bought one. I raise Phesants and this call dose not sound anything like a Pheasnt. It sounds like a sick Duck Call. I can make a better sound like a Phesant than this call.

sounds just a like a rooster

This thing sounds great. I used it in the field for a few days. Didn't get any rooster flushes off of it but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. There might not have been any around. Socal isn't the hotspot of pheasant hunting.
