T-H Marine Universal Hot Foot™ Throttle System

The Hot Foot™ connects to the boat floor and works just like a gas pedal in an automobile, enabling better speed control and safer boat handling. Top tournament pros will tell you it's one of the best safety features you can have on your boat, especially in rough water, because both hands can be on the wheel, rather than one on the wheel and the other on the throttle. Plus, you can speed up or slow down quickly and better react to changing water conditions or oncoming obstacles. The new Universal Hot Foot can now convert any outboard throttle system to gas pedal operation, even some inboards. New cable mounting plate makes installation a breeze.

great for multiuse

We don't use these products for boats, although I'm sure they would work great. We actually use them for extreme use on our monster trucks, and they hold up to the most rigorous testing as well as being very easy to use. Smooth throttle control, and comfortable foot pedal. Only thing someone might complain about is having the pedal be nearly straight up and down, with the only option to change the angle of the pedal by changing the mounting.

Hot foot Throttle system

I am an avid boater and fish in the smaller bass tournaments in my local area. This has shown to be an excellent tool for driving while in rough water and also while out playing with the family, especially when someone with less experience driving a boat can drive it like a car! One thing to keep in mind though is that you need to get a longer throttle cable to go with this item. Anyone who puts one in their boat will not regret it, just remember you don't have a brake pedal. Drive with care and you will love it. I shopped around and got the best price here.

You cannot have a boat without a hot foot

My last boat, a Ranger 518 I was cheap and decided not to put in a hot foot and save a little money. Big mistake, this thing makes driving under all conditions so much easier and more fun. Safetey is critical as well....I will never have another boat without a hot foot, and it is easy to install yourslef.
