Panther Johnson/Evinrude Integral Trim and Tilt

Get the convenience and added performance of a mechanical trim and tilt system without the added expense of a separate bracket or jack plate. Installs directly to original Johnson and Evinrude motor brackets in minutes and features Panther Marine's tournament-tested electro-mechanical actuator for smooth reliability. Break-away brass shear pins snap in the event that your lower unit contacts an obstruction, permitting the motor to lift up and clear the object without damaging the bracket, your transom or the trim system. Includes two replacement shear pins. Mounts on any two-stroke Johnson or Evinrude with through-hub exhaust in the 20-35hp range 1978 to 2004. Will not fit four-stroke outboards.

Excellent Product, I little harder to install that \u201c1 hour\u201d stated. You will have to pull engine from transom to perform first step and then I had to massage bracket that fits under engine to get pins to fit. It would also be nice if electrical connection from motor was father away from water, I had to rewire to make sure it was inside boat and dry.

why did i wait so long to buy

product is awesome, with the knowledge of how to use basic hand tools, (screwdrivers, open end wrenches, and a pliers) this product is easy to install. everything fit great, looks great on boat, and functions awesome, highly recommend product, they have done their research, excellent product, two thumbs up!

A REALLY NICE ADDITION TO SAVE YOUR BACK. AFTER GETTING ALL THE MISSING PARTS ( CABELAS SENT A SECOND UNIT OUT QUICKLY) , THE INSTALL WAS PRETTY PAINLESS, AND FUNCTIONED WELL.
