They work!
Date:
I have a Traditions Vortek topped with a Cabela's Powderhorn scope. I bought the muzzleloader in case I decided to try something different when I don't have my bow in hand. I played with it off and on over the past two years and after much expense on bullets, powder, sabots, etc. I have not been able to get it sighted in and shooting consistant. I e-mailed Traditions. They recommended two options one of which was a 250 grain Hornady SST, two White Hot Pellets and Remington cleanbore primers. I used the Hornady and White Hots with some other primers I had and the gun grouped right from the start. I was able to dial it in and it held the groups out past 100 yards. The White Hots burn cleaner, they do smoke more than I had read, but not as much as the standard pellets and had no odor. What is also nice is they come packaged by 6 in nice capped tubes. Once I get the cleaner burning primers it will be a perfect set up.

IMR white hots
Date:
Best pellet load I have found yet. Blackhorn gave me a couple hangfires out of 25 shots so I cant quite trust it in my CVA Accura V2. With 3 charges, a 300g Powerbelt Aerolite, and a regular Winchester 209 primer, I get sub 1.5 inch groups at 100 yards without swabbing. I can manage to get about 3 shots out before I have to swab the barrel. A wet patch, and a couple dry patches, and it comes out spotless. Recoil with the max charge and the 300 grain bullet wasn't nearly as bad as with 120g of blackhorn. This will be my load for deer starting next week.

junk

I use a TC Impact
This powder if very dirty. It does burn a little hotter than other pellets. I also found to to be very inaccurate, regardless of the bullet type the best group at 75yards was 3 inches.
