These caps are not good. They are hard to put on nipples. Some of them went on at an angle. I tried to straighten out but they are differcult to work with. Also, they misfire alot. I compared them to Remington's no.10 and the Remington's are much better. They fitt on much better than the CCI's.
Used them on a new 36 cal. Navy and from the start 50% or more needed a second strike to fire.
The diameter is too small to fit the properly on the cylinder nipple. I just don't see why these things are not standardized or labeled. For me it creates a dangerous potential fumbling around.
These work great on my Pietta 1858 New Army 44 I bought about 6 years ago from Cabela's. I've never had a problem with them--no misfires--and they fit perfectly.
