We ordered the roast for Thanksgiving and were extremely pleased with it. Warmed it exactly per the included instructions and it was very moist, had the perfect amount of smoke flavor. I'm ordering one right now for Christmas and we'll make it a tradition!

I have to disagree with the previous review. I served this roast at our annual whitetail deer hunting get together recently and my friends were impressed. I warmed the roast per included instructions and served it with two prepared from scratch sauces (creamy mushroom and a whiskey-cumberland sauce made with bourbon) along with couscous and baked butternut squash infused with maple syrup. There were five of us and the 2 lb roast was just the right size and it was delicious. Definitely a highlight of the weekend.

Disappointing

This product did not meet out expectations at all it had a horrible texture and the smoke taste was awful. We had this product for X-mass and every one in my family was disappointed it ruined X-mass dinner.
