This pool is a hit with the family
Date:
As we just ordered and put the pool up this week I cannot speak to its durability but it was very simple to set up and get in shape for tons of fun...based on my research we can legitimately expect this pool to last us a few years if we maintain it properly, that's a bargain I am pleased with...and the kids love it, thanks Cabelas

I love these pools!
Date:
We've had a 25 foot Intex Metal frame pool for 2 summers and before that we had the other kind with the inflatable ring around the top for 4 summers. These pools are fantastic! They are so easy to put up and operate. And they're very low cost compared to the permanent-type above ground pools. We started with a 15' pool, then went to an 18' and finally now for the past 2 summers have had the 25' metal frame. They are very sturdy - I've never had one that leaked.
The metal frame pool is the best version because it is easier to clean and easier to get the bottom plastic flattened out without wrinkles. Also, for the 25' pool, I prepared the ground by laying down half-inch styro-foam builder's insulation board where the pool would be set up. It makes the bottom of the pool very nice and even to walk on. And, I've been leaving the large pool up all year. This is the 2nd winter it's been up. I leave about 8" of water in the bottom to keep it weighed down so the wind won't blow it away.
The step ladders for these pools work out fine for children but most adults prefer something a bit more substantial. I bought regular pool stairs to get in and out and it really makes a huge difference. Also, the filter pumps work great, are easy to maintain, and I've never had to replace one.
If you want the benefits of a big pool but don't want to spend a lot of money or set up a permanent structure these pools are a great way to go. Intex has given my family 6 wonderful summers filled with backyard water fun!
