NFO Assault Frameless Pontoon Boat

    • Weighs just 21 lbs.
    • Fits in compact travel bag
    • Ultrarugged bladderless technology
    • IQ pockets are fully insulated to double as coolers
Few fishing-specific vessels can match the speed and maneuverability of the Assault. When you’re seated in the comfortable inflated seat, the front of the boat lifts slightly for arrow-like tracking through the water and a tight turning radius. The entire boat weighs just 21 lbs. and goes from its compact travel bag to a fully inflated, ready-for-fishing pontoon in three minutes or less. NFO’s ultrarugged bladderless technology tames the roughest whitewater you dare drop into, while remaining stable enough to stand up and spot cruising fish on still water. Comes equipped with 6061-T6 aluminum oars, quick-release footrest bar and F16 seat system. The two IQ pockets are fully insulated to double as coolers and have built-in rod holders. No assembly required. Manufacturer’s lifetime warranty. Made in USA.

Great Boat!
Date:
Love this boat! Only have had it out four times on the Madison but it increases the amount of fishable water by 100% over a drift boat. Very maneuverable and quick; easy to get back and forth across the river without much downstream drift. Very stable in rough water. Didn't use fins so it was easy to just stand up and stop to fish a nice run; and with pontoon on all four sides, it makes it easy to use the boat as support to wade in pretty swift water up to waste deep( after that it was difficult to jump back up into the seat). Easy to throw it up on the bank if you want to wade the shore but I think I'll add an anchor so I can leave the boat mid-river. At the end of the day, hike it up on you shoulders, pick up your rod, walk to the truck, bungie it into the bed and head for home. Only gave it 4 stars because of some paraphernalia issues mostly related to my height (6'2") - - the foot rest is not positioned well for me so my knees get in the way when rowing. To remedy that I kept pushing back hard on the seat to straighten them out. So I ended up breaking a buckle on the seat back support and then pushed the stays supporting the seat back through the seam. NFO is replacing my seat and I'm rigging some glue on foot supports beyond the foot rest bar to use when rowing. The boat is worth this effort.
