  • Full take-down, heavy-duty, powder-coated steel frame
  • 30-gauge PVC single chamber bladders
  • 840-denier nylon covers
  • Six-ft., two-piece take down oars
  • Transom mount for an electric trolling motor
Discover more freedom and more fish with your own personal pontoon. The Sport XR1 has a full take-down, heavy-duty, powder-coated steel frame with a plastic molded seat. There are no tools required for set up. The pontoon spans eight feet long and uses 16" diameter, 30-gauge PVC single chamber bladders fitted with Boston Valves for flotation. The bladders are encased with 840-denier nylon covers. Four individual cam-lock straps secure each pontoon to the frame. Six-foot, two-piece take down oar with heavy-duty steel clamp-on oars locks and nylon bushing inserts make for easy rowing. Two large side cargo pockets provide plenty of storage for tackle and gear. A large stripping apron handles extra line. The apron's raised edges minimize tangles and unruly line. A spacious cargo deck provides plenty of options for storing additional supplies and gear. The craft has a transom mount for an electric trolling motor and diamond-plate platform for mounting a battery. Six-position foot bars accommodate any angler and permit walk-through access. A high-volume two-way pump with hose adaptors fills pontoons quickly and easily.

seatless
Date:
reading the above reviews concerning the seat, I agree. I got 30' off the shore line and it broke the first time I used it. If they had this problem before, why wasn't it fixed?I am 5'9" @ 200 lbs.

Worth the money
Date:
If it had a drink holder I would marry it! For the money, it is great. Very stable. Had it down some class 2 rapids and never felt the least bit uncomfortable in the boat. Easy to assemble and carry. The seat is junk though. It broke during installation and I was able to fix it. On its maiden voyage it just completely broke and went down river. I thought to call Creek Company and get a new one but it would have been the same cheap plastic. So I bought one at a local store. Easily inflated, steers well. Easy to fish from. Does great in shallow water, fast water and slow water. Does everything I thought it would and a little bit more. Its my first pontoon and I foresee getting an upgrade in the future.

Outstanding boat!!!
Date:
I recently purchased this pontoon boat and so far it has gone on three trips from the Gaviota park near Santa Barbara, CA out towards the Channel Islands. The boat is easy to maneuver and handles swells up to 4ft. The frame is solid and allows you to secure quite a bit of cargo on the deck and motor mount area. I have not used a motor on the boat yet, but the mount seems solid enough to support a small gas engine. Assembly is easy, I don't usually take the frame apart, but it comes together in less than three minutes. The pontoons are easy to maintain ( I take out the bladder and rinse it after every trip since I'm not sure the boat was intended for exposure to saltwater). For the money you can't beat this and so far I have not found a reason that I would need longer pontoons, the 8ft pontoons keep me well clear of the water (6'2"/230lbs + gear) and track well enough to get you where you want to go without constant adjustments to your direction. Overall I am very happy with this boat and I would strongly recommend it based on the price, construction of the frame and performance in the water.

Great buy
Date:
This is a great buy. I have not got this in the water yet. I have a canoe and a float tube that I used in years gone by. But this is better. Portable and stable. Heavy material used. Even has a place for a trolling motor. And still fits in a trunk. Great product.
I put on a padded swivel seat that makes it even better for me.
