I see no issues with these zip up hoodies. I'm 6'3" 200lbs and an XL fits great. i love the zipper pockets for holding wallets, keys, cell phone, etc... stuff you dont want to loose on the water...
A+++ in my books.... highly recommend these

Different from the other hoodies

I agree with the other writer that the arms are too tight, not just the arm holes. I ordered my regular size but had to return for a larger one. The arms now fit fine, but the torso is huge. By the way, this is a common problem with all Cabelas shirts and sweatshirts for me. The arms are always too tight. I do work out, but I am by no means a body-builder.
Otherwise, it is a great hoodie. The polyester material is "slippery" on the outside and seems much more weather resistant than a 100% cotton sweatshirt so I'm not afraid to go out when it's misting. And the zip pockets are a VERY nice addition, like nothing else I have seen on any other hoodie. No worries about losing items, here.
Another great value from Cabelas.

GOOD+ Cabela's Guidwear Performance Hoodie

I bought this to replace my normal mid-layer of a hooded sweatshirt. So far I am pleased with my first "Guidewear" purchase.
I do not like a baggy mid-layer, but I would have to go a size larger if ordering another one of these, do to it grabbing under the arms a little. Luckily the fabric is a bit stretchy and somewhat forgiving.The chest size is correct, there is just not enough cut out for the arm pit but to be clear it is tolerable and still functional.
This Hoodie DOES out-perform a typical thermal hooded sweatshirt. It is lighter weight and more breathable allowing for much better tempature regulation. I can get over-heated easily so less weight and quicker cool downs are big bonuses.
* lightweight breathable layering warmth
* exterior is low friction (great for layering)
* adjustable hood is a good fit
* quality metal zipper (full length)
* soft backed hand warmer pockets
* two zipper secured pockets over top of hand pockets
If the correct size ordered had not been so snug under the arm I would have given this a 5 star rating.

Although this is a well made and comfortable sweatshirt, the fabric feels too synthetic and the wind blows right through it. It is nice and warm if used as an inner layer or alone on a calm day, but you'll get chilled quickly if any wind is blowing. The previous version was more wind resistent, the colors were nicer, and the fabric more comfortable. I bought this one thinking it would be an improvement. It is not. I hope Cabelas uses a more wind resistant fabric next year.
