being a surfcaster i wear out and have to replace my hooks very often, as much as 3 times a year depending on the make of the hook... well, after 3 strong years of use, it was time for a new hook cutter.. figured i could save some money with these and use my club points.. BIG MISTAKE... first hook i go to change out snapped one of the jaws under very light pressure. blade didnt even leave an indent on the hook..got a second one, this one lasted 2 hooks before the same... fed up i returned it and went to my local tackle shop.. paid more, but it was worth it... dont waste your time with these, not worth the hassle
