Original Boga Grip ®

Quickly operated with the use of only one hand, this grip easily encompasses the lower jawbone of most species. It won't rub off a fish's protective slime layer, and provides a more hassle-free way of handling noteworthy catches for a few quick snaps of the camera before releasing them unharmed. Because of the extended handle, the Boga Grip® is the optimum way for landing fish in cold water, controlling toothy fish and keeping yourself clear of multiple treble hooks. The trigger sleeve slides along the main tube for fast opening, closing and locking. A rubberized grip gives you a firm grasp, and the main tube contains a precision scale which is calibrated using certified weights to ensure extreme accuracy. The stainless steel tube and components won't break down in saltwater and will survive years of hard use.

I have the 315 and it is accurate to the ounce. It doesn't rust and so far I haven't lost it because I always use the lanyard..

    Worth the money
    Date:
Did not want to part with the bucks, but the Boga Grip is well worth the money. It is built solid, the scales are as accurate as spring scales get, and the fact that the grip spins in the handle keeps my wrist from getting strained when a big cat starts to spin in the water.
This is much better then using a landing net on catfish. No hooks or fish to untangle from net, no fish thrashing on the deck, no blood on the deck, no barbs or hooks stuck in my body. The fish is boated, dehooked, weighed, photos taken, and either in the livewell or released in a matter of minutes without ever having to touch the fish.
Had a cheaper one. Broke on 2nd fish, a 13 lb channel cat. Don't waste money on the cheap ones. Ain't cheap if don't hold up. Get a Boga it will be cheaper in the long run, well worth the money

High quality & ease of use
    Date:
I was hesitant to purchase the Boga Grip due to the price; if you are thinking about it, do not hesitate, BUY IT! Product quality is felt as soon as it is removed from the box, it provides easy one-handed use while grasping and releasing the fish, and it is gentle on the fish.

after almost losing a finger to a bluefish, I got this. It is great. It will not rust and will last as long as you don't drop it in the water...
